From 2 to 5 September 2026, the 3rd Annual Caribbean Association of Probation and Parole Conference brought practitioners, policymakers and researchers from across the region to Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands, under the theme "Leveraging Probation, Parole, and Rehabilitation as Effective Crime-Fighting Strategies in the Caribbean."
Hosted by the Department of Rehabilitation and Community Supervision of the Turks and Caicos Islands Government, four days of plenaries, panels and workshops addressed offender rehabilitation, youth crime prevention, reintegration and the development of professional standards for community corrections in the Caribbean.

Next stop: Tobago 2027
On the closing day, Tobago was announced as host of the 4th Annual CAPP Conference, 15 to 17 September 2027, hosted by the Tobago House of Assembly, Division of Community Development and Social Protection.
About the conference
The Turks and Caicos Islands hosted the 3rd Annual CAPP Conference following TCI’s election as Chair of the Association at the 2nd Annual Conference held in Saint Lucia in September 2025. The delegation was recognised for the territory’s progress in expanding probation and parole services, implementing youth prevention initiatives, strengthening supervision practices, introducing rehabilitation programmes, and building multi-agency partnerships to reduce reoffending.
